Inclusive education access (2025)
In 2025, UWEZO strengthened educational inclusion through partnerships that enabled the identification, assessment, and re-enrolment of out-of-school children with disabilities. This work reinforced local systems for early identification, transition support, and sustainable retention of learners with disabilities.

What this reached in 2025
- 1,386 children with disabilities supported (581 girls, 805 boys)
- 159 schools engaged in disability-responsive practices
- 62 youth mentors with disabilities deployed as peer educators and support agents
